It's a....

Boy!!!

Monday, May 23rd Phillip & I headed to Augusta, Ga with our family to do an early gender determination.  It was an amazing day! We took a poll on the way there. Me, Mom, Amanda, & Phillip voted boy & Megan, David, Dustin, & Dad thought it was a girl!
We all squeezed into Mom & Dads Explorer and made the 2.5 hour drive.  We went to O'Charley's afterward to celebrate! The imaging center was a wonderful experience and they made our moment very special.

A proud daddy!! He was not shy about letting us know right away that he was a little boy!

I will never forget the feeling when I saw him moving around.  I instantly fell head over heels in love with our little boy.  It was our first ultrasound since he was 7 weeks old so it was such a relief to see two arms, two legs, ten fingers, & ten toes. :)
The best thing we heard all day was he was a healthy baby and we had nothing to worry about. God never ceases to amaze me.

Inviting our family was the best decision! We had thought about going alone and coming back and doing the gender cake, but I knew it would be special if they went.  The imaging center has a huge screen for everyone to see. Above is Dustin, David, Megan, & my dad.  My sister Amanda was taking all the pictures and my mom was on the other side.

I MUST BRAG

Anybody who knows me, knows that my wedding day was EXTREMELY important to me and I wanted it absolutely perfect. And, it was. To be able to imagine your dream wedding, and then to step into that dream is an amazing experience. I will be forever grateful to everyone who contributed in helping my dreams come true.

My amazing photographer, Misty Deblasio captured the wedding beautifully and then she worked overtime getting our wedding featured in different blogs.  She was only allowed to submit 7.  I have blogged most of the links and here is that latest:

It displays the wedding beautifully and not to mention-I'm featured right after the Royal Couple. hehe-I just love it! Flip through the magazine and find us on page 34/35 & 40-43.(Oh and page 2 has one of my wedding signs handmade by bridesmaids.

I had to share my exciting news!!

Just to show you the other links and to have a personal entry for each link!

A Moment We'll Never Forget

We felt the baby move!

Last night Phillip and I experienced feeling the baby move for the first time.  It was an indescribable feeling.

I fell asleep at about 10pm while Phillip stayed up working on websites on his computer.

At about 3am, he finally decides to go to bed.  I was laying on my right side and he snuggled beside me and put his left around me and placed his hand on my stomach.  This is an every night ritual for my husband because he always prays for me and the baby before he goes to sleep.  As his hand laid on my stomach, I felt the baby move right where Phillips hand was placed.  I woke up and said "did you feel that?"  It lasted for about 1 minute and there was continuous "flutters."  We were so happy to experience it together.

It was a moment that I will always cherish.  I couldn't go back to sleep because I was too excited.  I am paying for it today!
Hope you are having a great week! I am off to go look at a house and take pictures of another!
