 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have been talking about getting a male dog for outside. We found our newest addition in Odum, Ga. yesterday Phillip, Amanda, I made the hour or so trip to go "look" at the puppies. My heart melted when I saw all 5 puppies in a circle around a pool drinking water and all of their ears floating beside them.  The black and tan male stood out and after a few minutes, he was in the truck with us to go to his new home!
Meet Elvis Presley Beasley:
He is a 5 week old, full blooded Bloodhound! :)

Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister, Amanda! (http://amandapaiget.blogspot.com/)

I can't believe you are 19! I can't think to type anything to emotional because I will cry, but I couldn't be more blessed to have someone like you in my life to share every moment with. You are literally my other half and I couldn't imagine my life without you. I hope your day is as special as you are!

It's a....

Boy!!!

Monday, May 23rd Phillip & I headed to Augusta, Ga with our family to do an early gender determination.  It was an amazing day! We took a poll on the way there. Me, Mom, Amanda, & Phillip voted boy & Megan, David, Dustin, & Dad thought it was a girl!
We all squeezed into Mom & Dads Explorer and made the 2.5 hour drive.  We went to O'Charley's afterward to celebrate! The imaging center was a wonderful experience and they made our moment very special.

A proud daddy!! He was not shy about letting us know right away that he was a little boy!

I will never forget the feeling when I saw him moving around.  I instantly fell head over heels in love with our little boy.  It was our first ultrasound since he was 7 weeks old so it was such a relief to see two arms, two legs, ten fingers, & ten toes. :)
The best thing we heard all day was he was a healthy baby and we had nothing to worry about. God never ceases to amaze me.

Inviting our family was the best decision! We had thought about going alone and coming back and doing the gender cake, but I knew it would be special if they went.  The imaging center has a huge screen for everyone to see. Above is Dustin, David, Megan, & my dad.  My sister Amanda was taking all the pictures and my mom was on the other side.

16 weeks!

I MUST BRAG

Anybody who knows me, knows that my wedding day was EXTREMELY important to me and I wanted it absolutely perfect. And, it was. To be able to imagine your dream wedding, and then to step into that dream is an amazing experience. I will be forever grateful to everyone who contributed in helping my dreams come true.

My amazing photographer, Misty Deblasio captured the wedding beautifully and then she worked overtime getting our wedding featured in different blogs.  She was only allowed to submit 7.  I have blogged most of the links and here is that latest:

It displays the wedding beautifully and not to mention-I'm featured right after the Royal Couple. hehe-I just love it! Flip through the magazine and find us on page 34/35 & 40-43.(Oh and page 2 has one of my wedding signs handmade by bridesmaids.

I had to share my exciting news!!

Just to show you the other links and to have a personal entry for each link!

A Moment We'll Never Forget

We felt the baby move!

Last night Phillip and I experienced feeling the baby move for the first time.  It was an indescribable feeling.

I fell asleep at about 10pm while Phillip stayed up working on websites on his computer.

At about 3am, he finally decides to go to bed.  I was laying on my right side and he snuggled beside me and put his left around me and placed his hand on my stomach.  This is an every night ritual for my husband because he always prays for me and the baby before he goes to sleep.  As his hand laid on my stomach, I felt the baby move right where Phillips hand was placed.  I woke up and said "did you feel that?"  It lasted for about 1 minute and there was continuous "flutters."  We were so happy to experience it together.

It was a moment that I will always cherish.  I couldn't go back to sleep because I was too excited.  I am paying for it today!
Hope you are having a great week! I am off to go look at a house and take pictures of another!

Blog Feature

http://www.kisswedding.com/blog/ashley-phillips-sunny-yellow-wedding/

Happy Friday!

I'm so excited it is FINALLY Friday! It has been a long week! I feel like all I accomplished was catching up on sleep(even though I'm still tired) & on my favorite shows.  It was a lazy week BUT I needed it.  I had my 2nd doctors appointment on Wednesday and it was amazing to hear the baby's heartbeat.  Unlike the rest of the world, I slept away as the Prince married his Princess.  I did read up on the wedding and I loved her dress.  She was beautiful.  I also love the traditions-I just love all things wedding.

My plans for the weekend:
Tonight: We have NO plans which is music to my ears.  I'm sure we will end up going to dinner and watching a movie.  Speaking of movies, have you seen Water for Elephants?  If not, go see it asap! It was amazing! It had nothing on the book, but they did a great job on keeping it similar as possible.

Saturday: I am going somewhere in the middle of the nowhere to watch my husband mud race. Yes, mud race.  I have to say (in the most non-judgemental way) I do not fit it in these types of environments.  The people are well.....interesting to say the least.  Oh well, my husband loves the racing part so I go to support.  Thankfully, my parents are going with me to cheer him on.

Sunday: Like always, we will go to church, go to lunch, and then go to my parents and spend the evening with them.

I never put up my Soul Steppers latest performance. The performed Easter Sunday with the older girls.  I was so proud to watch them.  They truly have my heart. I can't wait to see my baby up there one day dancing for our Savior.

I started my 12th week of pregnancy this Thursday. I cannot believe I'm almost out of the 1st trimester! I'm praying for an easier next couple of weeks! I made my appointment today to find out what we're having!! We are going May 23rd. I cannot wait. I think it's a boy and Phillip thinks its a girl,
What do you think??

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND! :)

Heartbeat

Today, was our 2nd doctors appointment. I asked my mom to come along with us so she could experience hearing the heartbeat.  Checkup went great, mommy is completely healthy.  I LOST 1 pound since my last visit-which was a complete surprise because I feel like I've gained 10!   They didn't do an ultrasound, but we all got to hear the heartbeat.  I have to say that throughout my pregnancy, I haven't thought of miscarriage too much.  I've been so sick that I've worried more about that.  Last night, I read on Facebook about a couple who went to there 11 week appointment and they couldn't find a heartbeat and they were afraid she was losing the baby.  My heart fell and I couldn't get that off my mind.  Needless to say, it was a relief when I finally heard that "bump, bump, bump" going strong at 166 bpm.   After our appointment, we ate lunch at Spanky's. The day ended up being longer than I thought so I ended up getting home late and missing a day of work.  I have been meaning to start a picture diary so I'll be posting pictures soon!

Catching Up....

How Many Weeks?
I am 10 weeks.

Symptoms?
I am still very tired and extremely nauseated. I wish I had "Morning Sickness," mine is morning, noon, & night. Praying for an easier next couple of weeks

Weight Gain?
NONE! Whoo hoo! ;) I know this won't last long so I'm celebrating while I can. I do however feel like I've gained 10 lbs.

What I enjoy?
I enjoy a wonderful husband always looking out for me and conversations about the baby. I love to hear what everyone thinks we are having. Phillip thinks its a girl, I think its a boy, but most of my friends/family agree with Phillip. We will see May 28th!

What I miss?
I miss my energy, motivation, and my lack of appetite. I can't wait to be hungry and actually crave something!

Overall:
Overall I am completely happy and blessed. My next appointment is next Wednesday!

Random "catch-up" on what I've been doing...

•Something I can't say just yet, but Phillip and I are ecstatic about this soon change in our lives! I will tell you in a few days!

• Easter Sunday is this week and I'm so excited because my Soul Steppers are performing with the older drama team.

•I have been sleeping & watching a lot more TV than normal! I am loving Dancing With the Stars, American Idol, & Real World right now! Who are your favorites?

•I finished reading "Water For Elephants & I'm sooooooo excited about the movie this Friday! It was a fairy tale ending-I won't say anything else!

• My mini vacation with Phillip, Jareb, & Amanda was just what I needed! I loved the Georgia Aquarium. I really think God showed off under the water.

• I've been extremely busy with work and appointments.

• My sister moved up her wedding date to March 24th of next year and I'm so excited to start planning for her big day!!

WILW

First off, I must apologize for being so slack here lately! Even though I do catch up on all of my favorite ladies and their blogs, I have failed to have energy to write my own. I have been spending a lot of time concentrating on work. I think I've gone into somewhat of a panic since I know our lives are about to drastically change with our baby on the way! When the baby arrives, I want to give 100% to him/her and concentrate on being mommy.

WILW

Hello 8 Weeks

❀Pregnancy❀

How Many Weeks?
I am 8 weeks today.

Symptoms?
With my luck, I would get every symptom possible! I am EXTREMELY tired. I would be happy to sleep all day! I have mild cramps and really sore breasts. My morning sickness is all day/everyday. My "Up & Go" has left & I have no motivation for anything. I have no appetite and I have to force myself to eat.

Weight Gain?
I gained 5 lbs around 6 weeks, but now I have lost 6 due to the lack of appetite and nausea.

What I enjoy?
Right now I am enjoying just the new feeling of being pregnant. I can't think about anything else. Regardless of all the symptoms, I am so thankful to be here. I will gladly be sick and tired to have a healthy baby.

What I miss?
I miss my energy. I am an extremely motivated person(I have to be: I'm in sales) & here lately I have to force myself to do anything. I miss caffeine(esp. coffee & diet dr.pepper) I miss eating and actually craving something. But despite all the things I'm missing, I am happy to be gaining something much more special.

Overall:
My first appointment was March 25th. It was amazing to FINALLY hear the heartbeat. The heartbeat was 152 bmp. I really liked my doctor and I was excited about my choice to use him. (His name is Michael Jackson- hehe) All of my tests came back normal and I was happy to have that first ultrasound out of the way ;) My next appointment is April 27th-We can hardly wait.
And I must add here that my husband just continues to show me how wonderful he is. I love laying in bed at night & feel his hand reach over and hold my stomach. I know at that moment he is praying for me and the baby. I can't describe what it means to have a praying husband.

I plan to document my entire pregnancy. I think it will be something I will cherish in the future. Thanks for sharing this life changing experience with us!

WILW

God.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

This scripture has been on my heart for the past few days. Friday, as we walked out of the doctors office after hearing our baby's heartbeat,  I looked up at my husband and said "We have so much to be thankful for." I know that I have said that thousands of times, but in that moment I truly knew what it meant. When I stop and think about God & how good He is, I am overcome with emotion. I want to share with you one of my favorites dramas performed by "The Awakening." I hope it blesses you as much as it blesses me.

Hey BABY!

Phillip and I are having a baby!! Today was my 1st doctors appointment and we got to hear the heartbeat. It was an overwhelming experience. I was so relieved to hear the heartbeat and I was so happy. It was 152 BMP. We found out by a home pregnancy test March 6th so we've been waiting for today for soooooo long! I've had the usual symptoms: extremely tired, morning sickness, etc. I am so thankful to God for blessing us! We are so ready to become parents! I am 7 weeks pregnant, which I was a bit bummed because I thought I was closer to 9 weeks based on my last menstrual cycle! Here goes the countdown!!

1st Ultrasound: Can hardly see b/c its too early! I will go again in 5 weeks!

Weekend Recap

✹Friday Night: Mr. Beasley decided to go coon hunting in Macon, so I decided I was going to sit in with my 2 favorite girls(Sadie & Dora) & relax! My sister-in-law, Megan ended up calling so we decided to relax together. We went to dinner at a local restaurant called Spanky's.  After dinner we went back to my house & watched Morning Glory. It was pretty good-I adore Rachel McAdams! Megan left and I fell asleep on the couch until Phillip came home (4am)

✹Saturday: We did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING<~and I was pretty mad about that! I woke up early to a beautiful day! I immediately get ready for the day! I go run a few errands & pick up lunch! When I get home at 1:15, Phillip is still in bed!! UGH! So, I wake his lazy behind up, feed him, & then he gets on the couch! BIG MISTAKE-I decide to lay down with him! We end up watching movies all day! We did make it off the couch by 8:15 to head to Savannah to eat at one of our favorites, Outback.

✹Sunday: We went to our favorite place in the world, International Worship Center! We had an amazing service & it felt so good to be around my church family. We spent the rest of the day at my parents with family.

To sum my weekend up in two words: Lazy & Unproductive!

✰I'm looking forward to the Bachelor tonight! Team Emily or Team Chantal? I'm honestly okay with either choice! I love Emily way more then Chantal, but I like the way Brad is comfortable around her! We will see!!! I can hardly wait! ✰

I love Mondays.

Here's WHY:
❶It feels like a new beginning. I always set my weekly goals on Mondays.

❷Soul Steppers practice. I spend one hour teaching ages 4-12 dance & drama at my church. I currently have 38 children on my team :)

❸My favorite show the Bachelor comes on! I leave the church at 7pm and I get home in time to slip into something comfortable and get on my couch to not move for an hour! This season I love Emily, but I'm all for Chantal. I think her and Brad are better for each other. Brad wants whoever he marries to move to Texas and I can't see Emily moving her precious daughter from her home!

❹My husband doesn't come into the office. I get a lot done, but I also can't wait to get home to see him :)

Show Me Your Rings

I came across this post and thought it would be fun to play along: Mrs. Yellow Ribbon

Show me your....RINGS!

Did you look at rings together?
Yes, I tried mine on and then I looked at the price and put it down...I tried on a smaller that I loved-so he knew my style! To my surprise, he got my 1st choice

Do you like your ring? Did you from the beginning?...and be honest!
I've loved it since I first laid eyes on it. I will always love my ring!

How often do you wear your rings?
I only take them off at night.

Do you clean your rings?
Yes, atleast one time every 2 weeks.

What went through your mind the very first time you saw your ring?
I was so excited to see my #1 choice in that box! It looked even better in the little black box! :)

Tuesday DOOMSDAY

What an AWFUL day! I thought my day would pick up after my first post this morning, but it just got worse & worse!

1st & least I found out my couch will not be here until Thursday-I was bummed but then...

I found out my sister & fiances English Bulldog, Gracie drowned in their pool. My heart just aches-Phillip and I got the chance to dog sit her a few weeks ago and she is the best dog. As a puppy, she survived parvo-it seems so sad that she had to go this way. We will miss "Gracie Lou Freebush" (my name for her)

THEN...someone calls us and let us know that the ambulance was at one of our houses. We tell the person to keep us informed. A few minutes later we found out that our tenant had a heart attack and passed away. She was a wife & a mother to two daughters. Please keep this family in your prayers.

They couldn't of picked a better cast! I can't wait to see it! If you haven't read the book-it was amazing!

This was absolutely the best day of my life. Everything went PERFECT. I spent a year planning & I had an amazing team behind me. I would of been lost without my mom, sister, and mother in law.  And most importantly, my husband was amazing to me during this time of planning.

Here are a few pictures of my BIG DAY:

My bridesmaid & I made signs and put them all over the venue.

The Belle House

My Center Aisle & a few pictures of the outside.

I put a picture of my mom & dads wedding day to symbolize the Bride side & a picture of Phillip's parents on the other side of the aisle to symbolize his side. I used lemons down the center aisle, yellow poms draped by damask ribbon and yellow rose pedals. Down the sidewalk, I had black and yellow windmills and a clothes line of pictures.

We made the favor boxes ourselves-gluing every thing on and putting them together, my husband designed the menu cards & my sister folded every linen.

My Candy Table

The best cake :)

I didn't trust anyone else to do my make-up, my cousin Shelley did the final touches.

My dad bought me this ring when I was born, I wore it on my dress for my "something old"

My mom made me hair accessory.

My sister bought me beautiful yellow diamond chandelier earrings as a gift.

I wore the one my mom wore on her wedding day.

Heather Wallace, the best wedding director I know! When I say it went perfect, she is why! :)

I'm so thankful for wonderful pictures captured by Misty Deblasio & my sister Amanda Paige Photography so I can look back on that day!
